About the Unified Agenda

Twice a year, federal agencies report "on regulatory and deregulatory activities under development throughout the Federal Government, covering approximately 60 departments, agencies, and commissions" in the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions.

The Unified Agenda contains information from agencies planning to issue:

  • an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
  • a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking or
