The primary purpose of the Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library is to be active and responsive to the teaching, scholarship, research, and service programs of the University of Washington School of Law (UW Law). To that end, the law library is committed to maintaining a direct, continuing, and informed relationship with the UW Law community to ensure provision of legal resources and services.
Gallagher Law Library prioritizes services and materials to its primary users—UW Law faculty, students, and staff. UW faculty not affiliated with the law school may request access to the law library's collections. The law library's collections may be made accessible via electronic and virtual services, as well as in-person during designated hours, for the non-UW community.
